Eleven Organic Sweet Orange shaving soap.  The scent of this soap was fresher and sweeter to me than that of the RazoRock Orange Sunrise I used yesterday.  Its lather had quite good cushion initially, decreasing over 3 passes, and was not really very slick.  My skin was left feeling not moisturized but not dried either.

Nancy Boy Sandalwood

Nancy Boy creams are quick to load and lather, but can still afford a relatively thick and slick lather, depending on the amount of water, of course. The new Sandalwood scent is not very strong, yet easily detectable. Perfect for someone like me, who sometimes feels the heat with strongly scented soaps.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I’ll have to use Steampunk again, soon! I’ve had very few experiences like the one you mentioned – usually the scent of most soaps fades quickly after the shave.

If anyone truly enjoys Tabula Rasa soaps, it might be a good time to buy an extra or two, if you can locate any. They seem to be increasingly difficult to find. (Just a few days ago, a friend asked about buying Cardamom for her sons. The only place I could find that still has them in stock was Gifts & Care.)

I've been busy, OK?  I have made time to shave though.  Today's shave was special however.  In the pass around sample box Black Tie Razor had several soaps, most of which I already own.  One stuck out to me and I bought it.  Black Velvet just scratched my vetiver itch and I really like the scent.  But as you can see, that's not what i shaved with.  There was a sample of Sir Henry's Sandalwood in there and although the scent didn't seem all that great, the dry down revealed true sandalwood.  Enough interest that I bought it. Well, the scent off the puck rivals my favorite.  Happy?  Yes Sir!  And to make it better the soap opens as I lather.
