1000 & 1 Seife Tabula Rasa Cardamom
As mentioned also in the SOTD thread post [https://damnfineshave.com/thread-sotd-28...#pid275169], Tabula Rasa Cardamom is enjoyable, especially when it comes to the scent. Although this soap line may already have had its heyday, I continue to appreciate it. Performance may not be tops by the latest standards, but it’s still easy to understand why this soap was so coveted at one point in time.
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I agree the it is not as popular as when it first came out. I do however have backups for most of them. It is a good soap and I hope I can continue to purchase it. The other day I used Steampunk which has a unique fragrance. Several hours later while watching TV I could still smell the fragrance I have not had this experience with other soaps as well as other Tabula Rasa fragrances.
Reserve Fern t. (Barrister & Mann) green fougère
There’s enough lavender and oak moss to convince you that you’ve got a fougère on your hands, but it’s all sweetness and light. Reserve Fern doesn’t have that gravely umph that typifies old school fern fragrances, the kind that makes you want to unbutton your shirt down to your sternum and pretend you’re Tom Jones. This soap's scent actually pairs well with the latest version of Brut, not too bold, not too challenging, a little on the thin side, but pleasant.
