No. 88 t. (Czech & Speake) rose, plumeria, vetiver, sandalwood
Sometimes a floral fragrance goes especially well with a wet badger brush. Today No. 88's Edwardian garden sank right into the beasty odor of the brush and conjured up all sorts of happy olfactory associations. To me they smelled homey, and brought back memories of lying on grandma’s wool carpets in the front room she’d ornament each morning with fresh cut roses from her flower garden. Nice mix of the magnificent and the mundane. The lather's among the very best at this muggy time of year, providing plenty of protection as you shave at sunrise and then keeping your skin plump and easy well into the evening.
