What soap/cream did you use today?

Wholly Law King of Bourbon

Maya t. (Tallow + Steel) coffee, wet earth, chocolate, beans

I suppose a name like Maya should conjure up images of tropical Yucatan, and the label surely points me that way, but when I take a whiff of the soap what I really get is the smell of coffee grinds steeped in beet juice. It’s dark, wet, and like my grandparent’s dirt cellar after a rain storm, a little moldy. Not exactly appetizing or alluring. Maybe this is why T+S doesn’t offer Maya anymore. It’s also quite strong, so if you find a tub, get ready to smell musty for at least six hours. Though the fragrance is curious and original, I can’t think of a time when I really crave to smell this dank. Glad I got the sample.
