When I first heard of Trumpers Violets I was not interested but as time passed I wondered what a floral intended for a man might smell like. I'd had a lilac soap and well. It smelled like lilac which is good. I had several roses because I like the scent of roses but all of them left me flat. Trumpers Violets certainly smells of violet which if you like that scent you will like this too. Unlike most rose scents that smell like a test tube, this one really does smell like violets on the breeze. It never ceases to amaze me how long the light scent of Trumpers lingers post shave. I'll pair this with Grey Flannel and I'm good for the day.

LOL! My wife didn't think so...I think her exact words were "you smell atrocious"
Although I love my wife, there are just some days you have to wear what you like...and Texas on Fire is my kind of scent

Do you remember which Lilac you had? I'll likely sneak in a Lilac and Gardenia shave soap from Mystic Water the next time I order shampoo bars.

Through the Fire Fine Craft badged Maggards. Didn’t care for it enough to keep.

Thanks. Will do. I think the cream has that reputation as it’s a vibrant blue. This soap is pale by comparison but I rinse really well every day anyway.
