West Coast Shaving - Oriental (Catie's Bubbles Version)...

I have to say the more I use this soap, the less I like it. The scent is nice but not as awesome as when I first used it. The performance is good, but falls short of others I like and use. It might be a nap from rotation to better build my appreciation.

Premium Shave Cream v. (C.O. Bigelow) eucalyptus, cedar, musk

This has a powerful and not always pleasant smell whose harsh chemical edge overwhelms the natural bits. I can take the tinny eucalyptus and the cedar, but the musk does me in. Luckily it fades in and out, and there’s enough menthol in the mix to keep me distracted. I gather Bigelow lathers and smells a lot like Proraso Green (Proraso makes this cream for Bigelow). All in all, it's usable but not especially exciting. To be honest, the lather comes out pretty frothy. The main attraction of this tube of cream may be its small size. It will be a good soap for traveling. If it accidentally gets left behind, my heart surely won’t be broken.

I have to say, your review pretty much sums up my thoughts on CO Bigelow. For me, it's functional but not much more.

It seems the general consensus is that it's the exact same soap as Proraso Green. I am a much bigger fan of Proraso blue for the scent and Proraso White for performance (it's an ok scent, though).
