I hear ya Bouki. I likely don't have nearly the number you do, but still, I know I won't finish these for quite some time (maybe 10 years for my whole stash?). Thus, smaller sizes are a great idea.
This makes me think of Siliski's soaps, who make a 2oz trial size. IMO, two ounces is a good business idea... its a half a tub, not a 2-3 shave sample. I'd imagine, with daily use, that trial soap would last a month and a half, maybe two.
My only issue is their 2oz soaps don't come in a container. They change that, they could have a big deal on their hands.
EDIT: I almost forgot, Soap of the Gods makes 2 ounce containers, at least of some soaps. Never tried one, but recall someone on the Boards buying a gingerbread variety just before Christmas. So some vendors have caught on to this idea.
