Wickham's Club Cola...

Like other have said, the stuff smells like mountain dew. A very fine, high quality Mountain Dew... Lol.

The shave is amazing. Good slickness and protection. Great citrus scent. The post shave feel is good and the post shave scent moves to a nice lightly citrusy herbal scent. One of my top soaps, for sure. [Image: 2171ebb08964f9b2428583da4a16527e.jpg]

Clay Face
Honolulu, Hawaii
Italian Barbershop v. (Le Père Lucien) cinnamon, citrus, rosemary

I don't usually care for much cinnamon in my soap. That's why I've never been a big fan of bay rum. While cloves are no problem, cinnamon smells too much of hot sticky buns fresh from the oven, great to eat but not the sort of thing I want plastered across my face.

LPL's Italian Barbershop offers a different kind of cinnamon. More aromatic than edible, this cinnamon is very dry, almost dusty, and perfectly balances with the lemon, orange, and rosemary. Together they smell clean, fresh, and lovely, but they're not going to tempt you to lick the puck. If you like the sound of this but you're still not sure about the cinnamon, try Fitjar Island's Slåtterøy soap, which smells similar, but replaces the cinnamon with mild coriander.

I've never tried Tabula Rasa. By all reports a top shelf soap. But that artwork on the label! I find it off-putting and a tad disturbing. Perhaps there is a style I'm unaware or unappreciative of but it seems better graphics would make it more approachable to me. Odd, I know.

Used Cattie’s Bubbles “Barnegat Bay” for first time today.

Scent is good and refreshing without being overpowering. Felt a slight bit of irritation as I put it on which may have been due to me over exfoliating but I’ve never had that before from other soaps. Not enough to not want to use again and maybe change my prep.

I own 5 of their soaps.  While it is a top shelf soap a tub does not last that long and they charge $31 for three ounces.  I noticed Maggard has discounted them to $22.  When they first came out they were the rage and everyone had to have them,  I believe that is over now.  If I got longer use out of a tub I would probably purchase more because it is a good product.

Can't say much for the man on the label but Tabula Rasa has several meanings such as "scraped tablet, clean slate", "a mind not yet affected by experiences" and there are others.  If you feel that $22 for three ounces is reasonable try one.  I would suggest Steampunk, great smell and a different label.
