Used Grooming Dept’s Mandarin Bay today for first time. Super rich, smooth and dare say perfect lather. Scent was subtle Bay leaning more towards the floral side and just glad I managed to find a jar. Mohammed said he may not make another Bay for a while due to the scent derived plant’s availability.

Cape Verde t. (Mickey Lee Soapworks) citrus fougère
(Day 1) – A liberal dose of oak moss gives this tart fragrance a bitter edge that just balances its beach bright mandarine and tangerine notes. It's herby and fresh at the same time and makes a splendid early spring fougère. Today's lather was surprisingly light compared to the wet and weighty BM Reserve I've used the last few days, but the results were still excellent, a clean close shave with a rich finish thanks to the lanolin and Shea butter. I only wish the cushion were deep enough to sink a blade into without worry.

Noble Otter Soap Co. Thé Noir et Vanille
Highly enjoyable “strawberry tea” scent. I can tell that this is a quality soap, but I’m still trying to find the optimal way to lather it. I haven’t quite managed to get the kind of “heavy” lather that I enjoy the most.
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
