Bay Rum t. (Barrister & Mann) ★★★★☆
I've got way too much soap – too many pucks, too many samples. I've been collecting them for five years, and some of the samples in particular are starting to show their age. Ingredients are separating, scents are fading. It's time to either use them up of pitch them out. So, in the next couple months I'm going to plow through my box of samples, using each up entirely over the course of three days. If it's a stinker, I'll use it once and then chuck it straight into the bin. I'll only write a note when I've scraped a tub clean. That means I'll post to this thread only two or three times a week. Once these samples are done, I'll come back to the daily soap noting.
This Bay Rum was a keeper. It's really fun in cooler weather (a little over the top, though, when it gets warm). Spicy, fruity, and just a bit rummy, it leaves your brush so fragrant you can still smell the bay as you stumble to the john at three in the morning.
