Caties Bubbles always sneaks up on me. I don't use them enough. Ocean Grove, according to Chris is a mix of fruits, flowers, and salty notes. I can smell the sweetness of the fruit. I get the florals in the accord. But the soap does not smell fruity or flowery. It smells AWESOME! This one solidly falls into the aquatic scent profile. Lather is easy and voluminous. Slickness is very good. But the scent! Man, Mr. Cullen makes awesome scents.

Neroli t. (Nanny's Silly Soap, Traditional) ★★★★ orange blossoms

Nanny makes four, maybe five kinds of soap. So far I've tried the vegan variety called Signature and a tallow type called Traditional. I used the two soaps back to back over the last couple days, and I can't see much difference between their performance. I love them both. Neither creates a heavy wet lather, but what they give is thick enough for a comfortable three-pass shave. Their finish is slightly different. While Signature is well larded with Shea butter and leaves you with a velvety sort of waxy feel, Traditional softens your skin with castor oil. I think I prefer the Signature for it's rich finish that feels soft right from the start, but Traditional is no slouch in that department either. Today's soap is scented with just one oil, pure Neroli. If you go for that sweet Fruit Loopy blast of green citrus, then this soap is well worth sampling.

I am decidedly not a cream guy. I like the process of loading soap off a hard puck. In fact I have Trumpers hard soaps in 4 flavors, coconut oil being one of them. That said, this cream gets to stay around because it's so fast to lather, slick and protective, and mildly scented. On days when I have to get-a-move-on, this is a handy product to have around. Lather is high volume. Slickness is excellent. Packaging is on point.
