Coconut Oud t. (Lisa's Natural Herbal Creations) ★★★★ sweet coconut
After last night's storm, the beach this morning was littered with fallen coconuts. They seemed like a good omen for a shave with this soap. Coconut Oud's lather is as rich as its fragrance, and I'd be happy to use one of Lisa's soaps once a week – they're that good – but everything I've tried so far has smelled too sweet or too spicy. Today's soap is scented with heavy, sweet, toasted coconut. It smells like a Big Island bakery. Oud, if it's in there, is hiding under a palm frond. I pull this creamy soap out mostly in the winter months, since the cool weather keeps its nutty sweetness in check. When temperatures rise, the scent gets to be too much.

I love the scent on this soap but I've used this soap 3 times now and have yet to get what I would call a good lather. Goes on very thin and airy. Post shave has been OK but nothing special for me at least. That being said there seem to be many forum members that really like this brand as of late so maybe I'm just getting something wrong when lathering.
