Trismegistus t. (Declaration Grooming) Terre d'Hermès
Still jonesing for some cedar I brought out a fresh sample of Trismegistus. The scent is a close copy of Terre d'Hermès (2006). Perky grapefruit up front is followed by pepper, the cedar I've been hankering for, and geranium. It all finishes on a note of clean vetiver. There's nothing earthy in it at all.
This isn't the new Icarus base. It's the old formula, and it's nearly as soft as cold cream. It will take quite a dab to make enough lather for a two-pass shave. But when it comes together, it's slicker than snot on ice and smells great to boot.
