Wild Oranges Shaving Paste (Meißner Tremonia) woody orange

I much prefer MT's hard soap for making a hearty lather. Their paste is too soft, too wet. It has one thing going for it, though. It smells great, like the batter for an orange pound cake. The color of the lather is a dreamy orange that kind of reminds me of a melted creamsicle. I was tempted to lick the scuttle.

Declaration Grooming Darkfall (Icarus). A kind wet shaver sent me a sample of this so I could get an idea of the scent. I'm glad I didn't blind buy it because oud is just not my jam. I really like the other parts of the scent, but the agarwood overpowers it for me.

Had to Google 'Oud'... Lol. So many scents, so much to learn here.
