Dark Limes (Meißner Tremonia) lime, epazote
Last week I was disappointed to find that MT's solid soap samples offer very little scent. But reviews said Dark Limes was really something unusual, so I ordered a whole puck, and I'm glad I did. When it arrived I could smell it outside the mail box. No problems with scent strength this time. I unwrapped it and got a curious grass-earth-lime aroma without even a drop of sweetness. Then I took a deep sniff and smelled something like epazote, that dried herb used to flavor Central American food. So, yes, this fragrance is very different, a bit like a dusty old apothecary, a bit like a pot of Mayan black beans.
