Mammoth Soaps | v19 Outlaw
Basically to copy my SOTD post:
I’ve been using different versions of Mammoth Soaps prototypes during the past few days. The lathers feel silky smooth, look beautiful and offer excellent protection. (This latest shave was with a Feather blade on its 11th run.) Some of the early versions haven’t been particularly slick, but this could in part be due to user error — I’m used to loading from a tub and lathering on the face, but with samples, I use a bowl, which of course is a slightly different technique.
Testing continues. The scents have been splendid; I really hope some of them appear in the final product line. My favorite so far has been the Strawberry Rose Neroli.
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Marshlands (L&L Grooming) spicy vetiver
These last weeks of August are high vetiver season, when everything is steamy hot and green. Marshlands brings out the best of this time of the year, convincing you that even a swamp can at times smell good. Its one of the best vetiver soaps on my shelf, and I'm disappointed that Declaration Grooming no longer offers it.
