Neroli (Nanny's Silly Soap-Traditional) ★★★★☆ orange blossoms
Nanny's traditional line of soaps is made with tallow, and they're quite soft. It wouldn't take much pressure, even with a floppy brush, to bore a hole clean through a puck. So, it loads easily and that makes for a fairly dense lather with ample cushion and a dry but pleasant finish. But that's not really the exciting part. What I like best about this soap is it's rich neroli scent. Nanny's been very generous with her essential oil, and its bright fragrance, bursting with hesperidic sweetness, makes this soap a particular springtime favorite.
