La rose du Méchant (Catie's Bubbles) ★★★☆☆ spring rose
This has a very fresh, rosy scent, just right for the first half of spring. There may be a dab of citrus and a small dose of geranium in the mix, too, hinting at green apples. I like it very much, and I'm sad to see that it's no longer a part of CB's repertoire. The lather it makes is fairly slick, stable, and moisturizing, but it's not really remarkable. Nevertheless, if the scent were still offered, I'd be tempted to go for a whole tub so I could keep alive the magic of a May morning all the year through.
