Réunion (Mickey Lee Soapworks) oak moss & vetiver

More moss than grass, Réunion is nevertheless a crackling good scent infused into a soap that works as well as any other tub of tallow & lanolin suds on my shelf. I don't get any of the dark dirtiness Mickey's description tempted me with, and if there's much petrichor in this mix, it flies well below my nasal radar. In fact, this is one of the brightest vetivers I've ever enjoyed, and it perfectly suits a brilliant tropical afternoon.
