Even though the Latha soap containers are relatively small, I had no issues loading the fairly large Omega knot in this jar.

As stated in the Shave of the Day thread, had a really superb shave with the Latha soap, and was sad to find out today that the entire line is being discontinued. For those who enjoy a tallow soap with no lanolin, this has been a great option to have.

VDH. This pedestrian soap never ceases to amaze me. Cheap. Readily available in almost any town. Slick. Cushioning. Not fussy. Van der Hagen is likely the soap that started many of us down the rabbit hole.

Even if this weren't an excellent shaving soap, I'd still love it for its scent. The puck fills the room with a fruity, floral oud that's as beguiling and persistent as any room spray.
