The old standby, ABC cream. For straights, it is hard to beat.

Cheers, Steve

No pictures, but it was B&M Seville and Floyd Vigrosso. Great shave!

CRSW Glide.

A new base from from CRSW. It's a softer soap with a lot of butters and oils quite high on the fat content. It's good like other CRSW soaps but I'm not sure if it's any better than the other bases that CRSW offers but will have to use it more and will compare with the other CRSW bases and see what I like best.

Windsor (D.R. Harris & Co.) citrus, pepper, leather, vetiver

Windsor is one of the finest scents on my shelf. I've been caught more than once huffing the puck. But it's lean on the butters and other moisturizers that make a close shave last. Post shave balms, liniments, and creams can do much to rescue a dry shave, but ideally the lather lays down the first layer of dew drenched wetness. Some of the very best recent soap offerings are so well larded with emollients that an aftershave balm seems unnecessary. Not so with Windsor. Though its tallow smooths the rougher edges of your shave, you may still want to reach for a lotion after the last rinse for a totally plump finish.
