Bois Floraux, Select v. 1 (Cold River Soap Works) woody floral
Last Tuesday, too busy lately to mull over which soap to lather, I blindly pulled this puck of Bois Floraux off the back of the shelf and determined to ride it until things settled down. I ran it for four days back to back. It was an excellent choice. The suds are thick and slick and the cushion let me shave as absentmindedly as I pleased. I even got away with making a whole pass without any lather at all.

Recently, I saw a video of a man sitting in a barber stool. Another man was gently shaving the hair off his head — with an axe. An actual full-size axe!
I guess some conventions are meant to be broken. You are leading the way, Bouki!
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
