Limenthol (Cold River Soap Works) lime, cedar, menthol
A year has passed since I last cracked this tin open, and it seemed, at first, that the scent had entirely gone to ground. But a few splashes of water and a little agitation from the brush brought the lime and cedar back to life. Though muted, the lime smells natural, and it dissipates quickly as a real lime should. The menthol, I’m happy to write, is still robust and refreshing. Why did I let this sit on the shelf for twelve months?
