What soap/cream did you use today?

It's once again rose soap Sunday, today it was Martin de Candre rose. Their fougere and their rose are my two favorite scents.

The lather washes away clean, leaving nothing behind but a squeak. A year ago, tallow-mad and impatient with unlarded soaps, I would have hardly supposed that my favorite lathers would one day come from vegan pucks. Now I reach for vegetal soaps most days of the week. I like their lighter lathers and purer scents. Among them Kabinett – easy to lather, cheap, and ever so clean – comes close to the top of my list of preferred suds.

DR Harris - Windsor (shaving cream)

Away for the weekend. Brought a tube of Kiss My Face Lavender Shea. Lathered it with a brush. This is easily as good as any other shaving cream I've used, including the creams made by Creighton's for the three Ts and others, AOS, etc. I really think the only things standing between KMF and greater popularity are low price, wide availability, and maybe the name. This stuff is great. I highly recommend it.
