This soap gives me a fantastic shave – clean, close, comfortable – but what I may like most about it is the way the puck fills the room with its rosy aroma. It smells like Easter in Seville, Semana Santa, a week of parades and processions and festivals running from Palm Sunday to Easter Monday. The highlight of the processions are the floats draped with dozens and dozens of red or white roses. As they pass by their heavy scent is warmed by the tallowy aroma of the candles carried by attendants until the air along the route is thick with the sweet fragrance of roses.
