Sapone Di Paolo Terroso

The scent of Terroso (amber, patchouli, oak) to me is somewhat similar to Soap Commander’s Passion, but Terroso is just a little sharper, with a bit of a classic cologne vibe to it. Warm, masculine, and also slightly fresh at the same time. As the shave progressed, I felt a bit of heat from the soap on my somewhat sensitive skin, but not enough to bother me — I was caught up enjoying the scent. I had no trouble creating more lather than I expected, and all in all just had a fun first shave with this soap.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Brisa de Oriente (Eufros) cardamom & vanilla

Brisa de Oriente smells like a simplified version of JabonMan’s Gea, itself an homage to Francis Kurkdjian’s Le Mâle. That brilliantly orchestrated scent is composed of nearly a dozen notes, ranging from mint to cardamom to cinnamon to sandalwood to vanilla. Brisa de Oriente, on the other hand, is mostly sweet cardamom with a dab of vanilla to soften the camphor. Is there some myrrh in there, too? Maybe, but it’s tucked in pretty deep. Nevertheless, the overall impression made by both Gea/Le Mâle and Brisa de Oriente is nearly the same. It’s the smell of the spice market in an oriental souk – exotic, aromatic, and rich.

Eufros Rosa Bourbon

Whew! A heady potent rose that really is intoxicating!
There may be snow outside but I can't wait for the roses to start sprouting on the fence. Another wonderful soap.

With Bouki's help yesterday I have some Parkway jars (think CRSW Premium) on the way and this soap should fit beautifully in those higher quality jars.
Also some Colt-Ainer jars on the way from Maggards...another great one for lonely soaps.
