I cut my ½ oz. sample of this soap into eight little wedges. Each weighs just under two grams and makes enough lather for three passes. I wish I had thrown a few into my pack last week when I was hiking the Grand Canyon. I was too cold then to be hungry, but I had an unexpected craving for vetiver. Shivering in the depths of one of the world's greatest natural wonders, surrounded by layers of rock that represented unfathomable eons, all I could think about was a tropical weed. It was an odd sensation that made me question how far shaving soap is taking over my life.
