BM Lavanille. I can't get enough of the mousse de saxe perfume base. As I say to my fellow kids, stuff is dope.
Exotic Elemi (Meißner Tremonia) green wood, lemon, black pepper
The pungent black pepper is a surprise. Smooth, husked white peppercorns or delicate coral pink peppercorns aren’t uncommon in mens’ fragrances, but full-on black pepper is a rare treat. It works well with this soap’s lemon notes and smell of green wood. A light floral scent keeps the pepper from becoming overbearing. Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet suits this soap very well.

Sorry if I have asked this before, but do you exclusively use their soaps, or have you also tried the paste? So far, I’ve only used the paste, but found it to be most excellent.

Hi, Matthew!
I've never tried Meißner Tremonia's creams, just their solid soap samples. They're not really solid. They've been grated and then mashed into little plastic sleeve. I take a wee pinch and rub it into my lathering bowl. Less than a gram makes enough for three luxurious passes. I think I'd like to try some of their paste, too, once I've settled on my favorite scent.

I’ll have to try a sample of the hard soap, and I do highly recommend what they call “paste,” which is actually quite a good description of the product’s consistency.

Also, I really enjoy reading your reviews and observations on soaps, and feel like they could be compiled into a very entertaining read. Perhaps a wet shaver’s ultimate coffee table book, with grand pictures of both the soaps in question and the things they remind you of.
