Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Himalayan Heights (Meißner Tremonia) ★★★★ cedar & cement
This soap has an especially smooth finish that only gets better as the day goes on. Macadamia, jojoba, and coriander oils, together with glycerin and talc, make a rich, protective, and comfortable lather from only a gram of soap. The scent wobbles between botanical and industrial. I can’t get past the impression of smelling wet concrete. That, oddly enough, appeals to me, but it might not be as attractive to shavers who read the name and expect to smell a bracing wind blowing through krumholz on a high alpine slope.
Meißner Tremonia’s ingredients differ from scent to scent. I’ve ordered more samples hoping to find another that I enjoy as much as a I have Himalayan Heights.
