Moroccan Sands (Nanny’s Silly Soap) rose incense
This is groovy. It’s not a rich, fruity rose, nor the most intriguing incense. But it is nostalgic, and like the name says, a little silly. It smells like those thin packets of stick incense sold in Asian grocery stores or record shops. When we were kids we collected the fruit and floral scents and burned them all summer long while listening to Paul Simon, George Harrison, and Harry Nilsson on the AM radio. It was our nod to Woodstock.
I got a respectable shave without doing any damage to my face. But there wasn’t much extra glide, so I had to be careful to keep some lather between myself and the blade. No tightness or irritation followed, just a dry, waxy finish.
