Poggio dei pini (Mystic Water) ★★★★★ pine, juniper, lavender, and dry mint
Named after a pine-clad hill the artisan rambled over when she lived in Sardinia, the scent of this soap is a pleasant medley of balsam and floral notes. Lavender and mint keep it from becoming a Christmas candle.
Michelle is very generous with her oils and butters. If I’m reading the label right, there are more emollients in her shave soaps than stearic acid. That may be part of the reason some shavers have troubles lathering Mystic Water soaps. But I wouldn’t want her to change a thing. After a Mystic Water shave my skin turns to silk velvet.

Thanks again for another review! This is a Mystic Water scent I have not yet tried, but definitely want to. I now have a much better idea of what to expect.
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
