Spring cleaning today in Boukiville. In the dim recess beneath my bed, I came upon this tub of Bay Rum, untouched and long forgotten. How it arrived there, and by what strange neglect it remained, no man can say. Nor can I tell how many days, months, or years it has lain in that quiet obscurity. But what is certain is this: time has done it no harm. The tub, once wiped of its dust, revealed itself as sound as ever. I dipped my brush, lathered, and found the shave as fine and satisfying as any I have known. If I had to, I think I could travel through this life with just two soaps: one a fougère, and the other a bay rum. And my choice of bay rum would probably be this one.

DanLaw: Barrister and Mann still had a few topographical labels when Will rolled out Omnibus. In fact, I have a whole menagerie of topographical labels in that base. Some of the lids are black, others are clear. Some got neato B-M stickers and skinny soap name stickers, others didn't. Dunno why. These are deep waters.

Apologies. Had faulty memory that Barrister_N_Mann  had lost the rights to the artwork. Really is the best artwork in shaving. Good to see it still being used.
