A dry, bitter, woody scent that won’t distract you from the real business at hand, scraping the hair off your face with a very sharp blade. Saponificio Varesino had nearly fallen off my radar, until today I saw Spectre’s post. Eighty years already? Seems like we just celebrated their 70th anniversary. Thanks for the excellent description. When it comes to talking about shaving soap, you can’t use too many adjectives.

Well, Tommy, unfortunately it's discontinued in the cream and soap. (All their soaps are discontinued, which really SVCKS). They've downsized their shaving products in the past year or so.
