Fougère Friday

GROOMING DEPARTMENT Elan: very reminiscent of LJdJ's Spanish Fougère. This base lathers fine - an older formulation. Had to unabashedly pair it with my favorite scent.

Fern (Barrister & Mann) Fougère Friday!
Shave 15

The Barrister’s Reserve base lathers up faster than the Omnibus base, and it’s slick. But it lacks some of the luscious cushion that Omnibus so amply provides. I had a pretty good shave today with Fern, but I also came away with a big hot spot, even after using the ultra-mild Henson AL13 razor. I’m looking forward to the arrival of Barrister & Mann’s Fougère Classique to complete a full weekly rotation of Omnibus based soaps.
