My number one base - the scent on this! Pairs well with Chanel's Por Monsieur. Best shave I have had in 6 months. [Image: 8f40afc7327008423630aa93931296c5.jpg]

This morning was sublime.  I’ve been on a Vetiver kick of late but chose a cedar scent this morning.  Ahhhhh.  The World is too much with us as Wordsworth wrote sinks deep in my soul of late.  I love my work and my clients are like family but brother this introvert needs a quiet cave to go hide in.  I’ve seen my home exactly 8 days in the last 40 and that’s too much.  When Delta flight attendants welcome you by name it’s too much.  Jet travel is amazing. To leave NY in the morning and get home in the afternoon?  Well our Grandfathers would not ever have believed it!  For that I’m grateful but I’d sure like to slide a raft or my drift boat into the Salmon river and not come out the other end of the canyon for 6 days.  Smell some woodsmoke.  Feel some wind on wet cheeks.  Sleep snuggled deep in my bedroll.  But alas, those things must wait until at least the end of March as my dance card is yet full.  Until then I’ll make do with a leisurely shave and the scent of cedar, a razor with a birch handle, and a brush sporting organic wood.

Your guess of three shaves was correct, Bouki ! You're the big winner. Just bragging rights for a good guess, I suppose. But, that's something, right? Maybe buy yourself something nice to celebrate.
After today's shave, I scraped everything up and smooshed it together for one last assault tomorrow.
