Thanks again Neroli. Wish they would make another batch. It is worthy of backups. And you are right Neroli, the AFS has legs.

Rebus, this is a homage to Blenheim Bouquet?

"Sir Winston is our take on the classic English fragrance Blenheim Bouquet. This version opens with a fresh citrus accord with lemon as the dominant player then lime. Next comes a fragrant blending of lavender and pine leading into a warm spicy base of black pepper rounded out with musk. It's a fresh, clean, simple scent that can easily be enjoyed Spring-Fall."
Not Rebus, but yes this is a homage to BB.  I personally like it and restocked when it came around again at Bullgoose.  The base is excellent and the scent exquisite.

Bluegrass, that bay rum AFS -? YOU LIKE IT? The maker is at a  barber near campus in Lexington. Tell us - is it worthy? I drive pass that place frequently.

TC, a member on here mentioned it and I've been VERY happy with it since getting it. I'd buy a backup if they weren't sold out......stop in and tell them we need more LOL

Tommy,

Sorry for the late response but thanks to Southsider for his.  My nose really knows nothing when it comes to scents, but if you're looking for a soap that you can use up fast, this apparently is the one.  I've used it four times and I'm averaging a little less than 8 grams a shave with the 26mm Paladin Winston Churchill brush I usually use.

No. 89 (Floris) citrus & bitter wood
Shave 12

After twelve shaves, this hard, hard soap has given up just one gram. It's going to last for a long time. No worries. The fragrance is excellent, even if it is a bit old fashioned. The lather itself is mostly a medley of citrus, so it’s worth finishing your shave with a spritz of No. 89 cologne just to enjoy the whole story. Like the soap, No. 89 cologne begins with a strong citrus, but then it transitions into a floral phase with traces of nutmeg and rose, and concludes with the fragrance of bitter moss and sandalwood. It lasts all day and never loses its appeal.
