Soap: GD Le Tabac

Grooming Department is an exceptional soap that creates a beautiful lather. It leaves my face supple and hydrated. I love this H4 brush!

Absolutely fantastic scent and post shave feel - best Tabac scent I have encountered!

This soap will always evoke memories of baking pinion cones for the pine nuts inside.  We wait until just before the first hard frosts arrive and rake the burrs out of the trees, sack em up in burlap bags, and cart them home to enjoy.  I have an old cake pan we pile a bunch of cones in and put into a slow oven.  The house smells like a Santa convention until right at the end when it smells like Darkfall which means the burrs are done.  When the cones went in they were green and sappy and sealed shut.  When the scent changes they are brown and dry and open.

65 degrees and sunny here today on the Gulf Coast, decided to pull out my CBL/Ethos Fresh Lime. My first Ethos product purchase. Still love this scent Dragonsbeard

Wow Jamie

Talk about oldies!  I still have a tub of that. I’ll have to dig it up and have a shave. I still have the aroma blend ingredients from that. It was a collaboration with CBL and I wanted to use just pure Lime Essential oil and Chris had a Lime that was pre- made by a company with 25% Lime Essential Oil and75%  Lime fragrance oil. So we both compromised and settled on half my Lime EO and his Lime Blend oil and that’s the lime scent in that.

He made the soap and I did the splash.

Good times!

Thanks for sharing!
