Nice one Dave!

Hey did you have the knot changed in your brush?  I couldn’t tell from the video.  I put a badger in mine and I thought you may have to. So just curious my friend.

Enjoy your Sunday
Thanks Frank, I had a red tuxedo in it but it was lousy and swapped it out for the badger.

La Toja Cream

I always enjoy La Toja.  It does what a shave cream needs to do; it's incredibly easy to load; and it has a clean, refreshing scent which I don't think is easily mistaken for much else.
HighSpeed, are the cream and aftershave the same scent as the soap stick? Thanks!

Bouki  RazorbladesClub lists three different Gillette Platinum blades.  One is Ink Marked and the other two are both laser etched.  One of the laser etched is denominated as New and the other is denominated as Laser Marking.  You are using the latter blade.  The New blade has arrowheads next to the lettering both on the top and bottom, one on the left and one on the right.  Your blade is missing the arrowheads.

Tuck on the New has a lighter shade of blue and is filled in:

Some claim the New is a better blade. It is more expensive at RazorbladesClub. I bought a bunch of the ones you have on Amazon and then bought 100 New to compare. Both are good blades and the New may be slightly better. Hard to tell.

TFS Katmandhu

OK, Bouki-master got me hooked on this per his generosity. I have shaved with it 3 times in the last 2 weeks.

I don't know what scent note(s) are grabbing my attention, but I can't keep my nose out of it. I need to go back to Bouki-master's review.

I am a tallow guy, and this has none of those attributes. Not fatty, not low profile-yogurt, not a dollop of okra snot. Starts out very foamy, but quickly built into a nice lather. Clean post- and will not interfere with the EDT/EDP/AFS of your volition.

Thanks BOUKI MASTER.

Per the master..& Lipripper has posted several times elaborating on the fragrance and performance. ...... So one man's hotel soap is another man's jam. Pretty good little puck Lip./Bouki

Lip, I think it is the oud that is hooked me. Neroli would love it.

Kathmandu is a mild woody floral – so mild in fact, I had to put my snout right down to the puck to smell anything. The label says it contains African geranium oil (pelargonium graveolens), which is supposed to smell strongly of roses. Alas, that scent is barely here. The description also mentions tobacco flower, coffee, oud, incense, and carnation. Honestly? Those notes may have made it into the mix, but they’re present in such minute doses that nothing is distinct. Kathmandu just smells like a tame floral soap that would be safe in any hotel room anywhere in the world. Big disappointment. At least the excellent quality of the lather redeemed the shave.
