Stirling Deep Blue Sea

Talbot/Maol Tangerine….Wonderful, very natural scent. Bit strong off the puck…but mellows quite nicely during lathering. I forgot how darn good this v2 base was…Definitely one of my top 4 elite bases…
V3 of the base was a real downgrade. Heard they are finalizing a v4…Hopefully, they regress to this great v2 base..or better it this time.

Along with the Australian sandal I pick up notes of pine sap and nutmeg. It’s luscious and plays well with L’Artisan parfumeur’s ode to incense, Timbuktu.

Floris Elite shaving soap (tallow). Its scent always seems just a bit metallic to me, but it certainly makes fantastic lather.
