What soap/cream did you use today?

I'm not one who likes scents incorporating liquor/cocktails. So it's a good thing the rum doesn't come through on this. Just a refreshing sugary squirt of citrus. And even a hint of fruit punch, I caught at the end.
Enjoyable and not "in your face".

This is a wonderful rendition of Mouse de Saxe as opposed to the unwonderful rendition in The Full Measure of Man.  Will Carius is not afraid to take chances.  I'll bet that WCS is thrilled that they got the hit while the flop landed in-house (or is that outhouse).

This morning I was feeling totally manly and out came the Texas on Fire!  Besides, it smells like our Idaho air!  It seems like the whole west is on fire.    How does it shave?  Good green jar greatness!  I do like Stirling with a good boar brush.

Can you really get over 800 shaves out of one jar of soap? That’s what my spreadsheet is telling me. This reckoning is based on that fact that it takes only a few swirls of Martin de Candre’s Fougère  to make enough lather for four passes. A heavier load doesn’t change the quality of the lather much, it just makes more. So I’ll stick with the light loads and look forward to celebrating Fougère Friday with Martin de Candre for a long, long time.
