I was born in a place where you don't dare encourage clouds... they'll end up forming a neverending iron blanket with every shade of gray in hell.

But being where I am now, it's ok... In fact, they're sometimes as eye-catching as the mountains, valleys, ranches, rivers, and the otherwise blue skies. Not even a great example of such:

It's been a bit rainy the last few days (... yeah I wouldn't encourage that in my previous life either)... Maybe it's just me, but the lichen seem to like it (or maybe the rain gave me the chance to notice). Again, not even a great example:

Pray and fight for better days, but find the good where you can.

El Jefe v. (Sir Henry’s) musky tobacco

When I first tried El Jefe back in September I wrote, “It’s sweet and pungent but still smooth with a definite spicy nuance. I get a hint of cinnamon. (If you’re sensitive to spicy scents, you may come away with some ruddy cheeks. Mine faded to pale within five minutes.).” Since then dominicr and his team have tweaked the scent. It’s smoother now, and muskier, and not quite so spicy. The other day he sent me a generous sample, and that’s what I lathered today. Same great performance as always, but this time no red cheeks. In fact, there’s nothing but perfect smoothness. I’m always amazed by this soap base. It’s vegetable, but it’s as thick and oozy as any tallow lather, and it gives excellent protection. Great work.

B&M Rhapsody. My oh my, what a scent. And the Soft Heart base? Pure greatness. Excelsior is no slouch, but I'd choose Soft Heart any day of the week. Will's balms are excellent too. They leave the face soft and smooth without being greasy. Suffice to say, I'm a happy camper with today's shave.

Used my very first Noble Otter soap. It was the BarrBarr scented one. I was surprised I liked it as much as I did.

To shave or not to shave, is that really a question?

XPEC Unscented shaving cream (v.1) + Rose Essence Oil Hydrosol + Ethos Grooming Mélange d'Agrumes. This combination worked really well.
