Sudsy Soapery - Lemon Rose Chypre
Ok guys, if you're serious about amazing shave soap and a simple but eloquent scent (if that makes sense), you need to try this one out.
Scent is like Xpec, but without the dirtiness/spiciness. Soft rose with some backup. Just beautiful for a sunny day.
Another cloudy day in the neighborhood.

Crema da Barba v. (Santa Maria Novella) eucalyptus, camphor, menthol, Tabacco Toscano
This sweet smelling soap is still the slickest I own. A gram makes a dense, thirsty, glistening emulsion that doesn’t obliterate the feel of the blade, so you don't run the risk of digging in too deep. Instead, it just takes the bite out of the sharp edge. What’s left is a smooth, close slip and happy skin. The cushion isn’t the deepest, so a light touch is a must. And the finish takes hours to develop. But when it all comes together, Crema da Barba gives a great shave. And the smell … ah that smell … rich and refreshing all at once. It’s one of a few tobacco-scented soaps that remains complex with going gaggy on me when the hot weather sets in. One of my absolute favorites.
