I think their base is phenomenal! Haven’t tried but the Amaretto scent though unfortunately. Hope you enjoy it!

Parma Inspiration v. (Catie’s Bubbles) Acqua di Parma Colonia

AdP Colonia has been around since 1916, smelling sweet and smooth for over a century. I know some complain about how quickly it fades, but I still love how its bright citrus and lavender get all cozy with damask rose and a pinch of herbs. But what makes it special is the quality of the sandalwood and patchouli. They are so smooth without getting syrupy. Parma Inspiration comes pretty close to the real juice, but you got to give your brush a hearty hundred swirls to really wake up the scent. And all that loading really helps the lather, too. In the past, I skimped while loading Catie’s Bubbles. All I can say is ouch. But well loaded and well watered, this soap is a slick and fragrant ride.

FULL REVIEW coming. Quite possibly the best Bay Rum I’ve ever used/smelled and the splash is superb too! Dominic did this kit justice!

Lathered up easy, maybe not the thickest but nice texture, shaves nice and again the skin felt good with aftershave

No complaints on face feel but still trying to figure out the scent. I will include so you can see what my nose is trying to comprehend

Top-Elemi, Pine Tree, Incense, Orange, Artemisia, Grapefruit, Bergamot
Body-Black Pepper, Marjoram, Juniper Berries, Origan, Geranium, Rose, Lavandin
Base-Clove, Patchoulli, Vetiver, Amber, Precious Woods, Plant Moss

If anyone is familiar with the SV releases and the scents of Cosmo or Flying Mango. I was a little apprehensive of those fragrances at first but I also found them more approachable. Desert Vetiver leaves me a bit lost at first but hopefully more thoughts on the performance soon. I will shave with it again in the next couple days.

Happy shaving everyone
Zac, is this one very Green Citrusy sweet or a dry Spicy/Incense-y earthy Citrus? Read the label 500x finger on trigger and safety goes back on...

I believe this is a fairly new scent release from MW [or i have been asleep to at the wheel]. I have planted  [10 years ago] a Basswood or Linden tree, as they live 250+ years and can get huge. They produce a lovely yellow blossum and the bees are omnipresent in the late spring. Pretty fragrant bloom! This is nice and fresh - a clean floral . Another all-arounder from MW. I especially like rolling with MW in the winter per her post [glorious tallow and lanolin]!

Churchilllafemme just did a nice review of the Linden fragrance - check it out!
