I never smelled the original Blackberry Blossom Bay but it seems there were plenty of fans. My understanding is this B Cubed is the redo of the original. I get berry but really enjoy the bay. Very awesome shave this morning.
Fougère v. (Martin de Candre) sweet green
Among its many virtues, Martin de Candre’s Fougère has this going for it: the lather doesn’t taste bad. I don’t want to give the impression that I eat the stuff, but in the midst of a hearty lathering, I’ll occasionally let some slip between the lips. When that happens, all I get is a mild soapy taste, sort like old fashioned toothpaste. Now, when I was a little kid, I spent a lot of effort expanding my vocabulary. Words that really caught my parents' attention fascinated me. Consequently I ate a lot of soap. I wish we had this gentle Fougère around the house back then.

I can't attest to Wyoming but in PA I would say Lava.....

Maurer & Wirtz - Tabac Still one of my all time favourites. The porcelain dish is a little fragile but I love the basic white and brown packaging. The soap scent seems a little deeper than the current version matching cologne Ii used but no complaints. A happy Thanksgiving weekend to my neighbours south of the border.

When it comes to shave soap, the absolute worst tasting is a French soap, Cedar & Lemongrass, by La Savonnerie Bourbonnaise. I might as well have been shaving with Drano.(11-26-2020, 08:51 AM)Bouki Wrote: Fougère v. (Martin de Candre) sweet greenWhat was the worst tasting soap Wyoming had to offer? Hahaha.
