I do love a spreadsheet, HoosierShave! Mine shows Le Père Lucien taking the lead with 36 shaves in 2020. Right behind it comes Martin de Candre with 32 shaves. Saponificio Varesino and Meißner Tremonia are hot on their heels, and my new found love for WSP/Asylum has boosted that brand into the top five.

Spreadsheets are the best!  I started tracking usage shortly after getting into wet-shaving and now have about 4 years worth of data.

Our numbers are similar for 2020 but the soaps are different.  Shannon's (32) and Mike's (31) are ahead of Mystic Water (20) and Stirling (14).  An interesting aspect of the data was the diminished use of two brands:  B&M (9) and Oleo (2).  Both of those had been regular contenders for the past few years and I love the scents/performance.  But I've simply been in the mood for other soaps lately.  It will be interesting to see how the rest of the year plays out.
I am going to have to get back on the stirling horse!

Wholly Kaw did great for me in 2018...I went through a tub of Merchant of Tobacco.  But I didn't end up buying another tub (Kind of Oud) until late 2019 and it's only been used a couple times this year.  Since it's the only WK scent I have, the brand just doesn't get much volume (on the flip side, I have at least ten tubs of Shannon's, Mike's, Stirling, and MW).  Also, King of Oud is a rose scent which I really love but the wife isn't too keen on artificial rose-scents so it tends be used on occasions when she's not around...at which point it is competing for use with my smoke-scents Smile

I haven’t used an inferior soap in ages.  Some I like better than others because of loading or water or another variable but all will shave well.  To me it comes down to scent and leather is a scent I like...a lot.  I don’t want it every day ( unless someone comes up with a saddle leather, rain on sage scent).  This is a new, unreleased scent from Mammoth Soaps named Stones.  Why stones?  I don’t know the answer to that but perhaps the story will attend the release.  I can tell you the base is creamy and slick and I can tell you that the main note here is leather.  It offered up a very pleasant shave this morning.  As you can see I had to use a Teton Shaves stone brush for the walloping.

Spreadsheets and shaving.  What would our grandfathers say!  Hahaha.  We really are a bunch of shave freaks.  Keep posting brothers and I’ll keep reading.
