Tiki Bar Fougere:  This soap is getting ancient and I was never a big fan of their business model ( always back ordered).  That said, the darn stuff is really great soap.  I can't recall if it's always been relatively hard or if time has made it that way but it's pretty stiff stuff.  The scent is a more bright fougere but well rounded and without the sharpness that attend some like  Drakkar.  This one is more lilting an light and more similar to Black Ties Casino Royale without the kiss of vanilla.  I always have to work a bit more for this soap but the result is very nice indeed.  The post shave might be the most impressive bit of this soap though.  No need for a post shave unless you want to.

Antica Barbieria Colla

So dang exorbitantly expensive, but really slick. I mean hard to hold the razor slick if you get any on ya'.

Very nice almond-cherry scent - pretty strong [6/10].

Easy to build that 'low-rise' yogurt like lather.

Top shelf stuff - packaging over the top. Glad i have it but I have lost my mind with the SAD! I guess Boellis will have to be next, and then time to get my head examined. [Image: 68793dc64d654af3e2329e716a9fd822.jpg]

Felce Aromatica v. (Saponificio Varesino) light green

A week ago I was shoveling snow, chipping ice, and reaching for everything warm and spicy. Today, back in the lower latitudes, I’m mowing the lawn under tropical skies, and only cool green scents seem appealing. Felce Aromatica leads my list of favorite verdant fragrances. It’s as easy on the nose as it is on the skin. In spite of its name, FA is really neither a fougère nor aromatic. Mostly I get ginger, fir, and beeswax. There’s also a pinch of sandalwood and amber, but only enough to prolong the top notes. There’s no dirt at all. Here’s another soap I could use every day for a month or more, and so it too goes on my shelf of the thirty best.

GROOMING DEPT Angel

Angel was in my Top 3 for 2019!
Performance, cushion, recovery and SCENT!
Between AoS Original Sandalwood, Dragonsbeard and Angel; I probably open them 10x a week just to smell!  All 3 VERY different in scent, all 3 PERFORMERS!

Agree 100%. I've made similar a comment or two in years past.
