Strong ’n Scottish v. (Meißner Tremonia) charred whisky barrel
There’s nothing half-hearted about this soap. Its scent is loud and deliberate, and its finish is just as rich. Strong ’n Scottish is the only MT soap that’s been larded with lanolin, and they’ve been generous. In spite of all the lanolin, I don’t smell anything sheepish about the puck, and the rich rusty lather doesn’t bring up memories wet wool. If you like the way Mitchell’s Wool Fat leaves you feeling smooth and easy all day long, you may also want to sample SnS. Granted, the scent is heavy and not to everyone’s taste, but on a blustery autumn afternoon, the finish is splendid.

ADP soap [croap]
Not sure what the big deal is with this. Expense not a consideration for me [i try to spend my bux b4 my wife blows it on shoes]. Scent is ok [weak], slickness is good - - but wsp is way better, for example.
Hard to large in the jar provided. Oh well, back to Stirling

For me, it's the look of healthier skin. They use high quality (some ORGANIC) ingredients
It's also very protective.
Agree, I don't find it particularly slick compared to many others (but I think there is more to shaving creams/soaps performance than just slickness... and any bath soap is slick).
But the scent is pretty lame in the version you show (v2). I had to sell my backups.
However, the Colonia scent in v3 is immaculate.
Vintage Williams/Currier and Ives in a wooden bowl. Why would anyone choose to put a 30 to 40 year old soap to use with so many great modern choices? I suppose for the same reason a guy chooses a vintage razor or shaves with vintage blades. Because of nostalgia perhaps? An anchor point back to the roots of our fathers, grandfathers and great grandfathers. All I know is those gents were not lacking for great tools. The scent is all but gone but the performance must be as good as the day it was made. Super creamy. "Williams" slick. Great old shave.
