basique v. (Grooming Dept) vetiver & wood
I’ve had basique about two and a half years. It used to lather without a hitch, but now its ingredients have separated, and it takes a lot of swirling to make an even emulsion. The suds have become thin and foamy, too, nothing like its thick-n-creamy former self. In fact, today I had to reload before each pass. The slip remains the same, and the finish is as grand as it ever was, but some of the joy has gone out of this soap.
