Their sandalwood is nice bc it actually smells like WOOD. Amazing concept!!!
I had a sample I PIFed. It definitely has a wood scent, but I predominantly got a hat / straw scent. It wasn't bad, but not my cup of tea.

Am I the only one that gets hay / straw from it?

I would call it dry wood.

It's probably a good thing that this soap is tough to get ahold of, otherwise, I'm sure I'd have as many of the scents that I could get my hands on!  Thankfully, this one was a pre-order and "obtainable".  The base is really fantastic with good cushion, slickness, and post-shave.

Murphy and McNeil Ouroboros is a most awesome scent and I own it in the old formula which is very soft.  Almost a cream.  I find this soap to be decidedly unthirsty and a bit too much water actually kills slickness for me.  I over-hydrated today and didn't get the usual awesome shave.

Mysore Sandalwood v. (Nanny's Silly Soap) mild, authentic sandalwood

Mysore sandalwood has a milky-buttery-nutty note that gives it an exceptionally smooth texture. Take a deep breath from the puck. There’s no burn in the back of your throat. The scent is as soft and satisfying as clean sheets but still rich enough to hold your attention right through the shave. Gentle, warm, and comforting, it's the sort of scent you would be happy to hibernate with.
