What soap/cream did you use today?

King of Oud t. (Wholly Kaw) fruit, flowers & oud

Today this smells as much of apple as of oud. It reminds me of clear autumn weather and barn parties. For that reason I don’t pull KoO out as often as my other oudy soaps. Far sweeter than Saponificio Varesino’s Tundra Artica, and much spicier than LPL’s Oud-Santal, King of Oud slips best into that savory spot between Halloween and Thanksgiving when everything has been liberally dusted with pumpkin pie spice.

   

Gillette Pure Shave Cream

Eufros Sandalo shaving soap (tallow).  This had lost most of its scent, and over time I had become quite disappointed in the quality of its lather.  So I tossed it out after today's shave.

Do you have a rough estimate of its age?  I'm only curious because I have several soaps that are more than 3 years old and the scents are still strong.

And finally Shannon's Soap which is terribly under-rated in all categories.  Scent is awesome.  Protection is perfect.  Skin care is adequate.

I couldn't agree more regarding Shannon's being under-rated!  Have you ever used Shannon's for 7 to 10 shaves in a row?  I was recently informed that the skin-care properties of the soap really comes through with continuous use.

GD Coattail Redux - only a few shaves left in this one, but, I was able to pick one up from someone who sold a few GD soaps. So, I am good for quite a while, since i also have another one already stashed away.

WSP Tobacco

Nice lightly scented sweet tobacco

Not briar, not tobacco flower, not ashy or like a cig, but sweet mild pipe tobacco.

Great performing tallow. Easy to lather, low density and slick!
